Welcome
Orchard House is a fine Edwardian residence, situated on the
outskirts of West Hougham, near Dover. Hougham is a small village
split in two halves, it sits on the top of two chalk ridges running
parallel to and about half mile from the chalk cliffs which extend
from Dover to Folkestone - an ideal location to enjoy beach/pier fishing.
Located on the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
and about one mile away from the North Downs Way National Trail which runs for
153 miles through the Surrey Hills and Kent Downs. It starts at
Farnham on the Surrey Hampshire border and ends at Dover - Gateway
to England. There is a loop at the eastern end to take in the
historic Cathedral City of Canterbury.

The recently refurbished house is set in 1.3 acres of lovely
gardens & paddock and is surrounded by farmland and enjoys
views of Dover castle. If you are fond of horse-riding, walking or
cycling, the grounds of the house border a bridal path, public
footpath and a national cycle network route. Situated just 2 miles
from Dover and Folkestone, Orchard House makes it a perfect resting
point before or after crossing the channel via ferry or tunnel.
Having such a great location, West Hougham has many amenities
